Much of the equipment in the Mash and Stillhouse is old enough to be in a museum. The wooden Mash Tun is as old as the distillery itself. The tiny copper stills, the smallest legally allowed, are responsible for the authentic character of the spirit and in the background, the original spirit safe is where the heart of the run is selected for maturation.
